The ONLY thing

...that Cate doesn't mimic about Halle is her eating habits. Halle gobbles up almost anything you put in front of her. Looking at the two, you would probably think it was the other way around, but Cate has become more and more picky lately. It's hard to get her to eat much meat at all and although she will usually eat carrots or peas without much fuss it's a battle for almost any other kind of vegetable.
The other night we had peas with supper, (usually the safest choice) but Cate was not going to eat them. She wailed while Halle cleaned her plate and started on her cookie (okay, it was an 8th of a cookie- but don't tell her that!) We've figured out that if we tell her once or twice to eat her ___ (insert vegetable) and then completely ignore her, she will eventually stop crying, eat the vegetable and giggle through her dessert.
