It's JD's birthday today.
We had a tiny party tonight after church:
He requested the same cake he always picks- it's really good:
Especially with a little melted jam on the plate.
Yesterday his parents drove to Memphis to meet us for a birthday lunch: (Like last year!)
Two little girls were very happy to see Gran-Gran and Pepa:
JD hasn't gotten his presents from us yet- isn't that horrible?! But I think he's had a pretty good day. :)Those candles can't be packed away until next month. I'm next...

I was going to comment on JD's FB page, but noticed that the last time someone posted on his wall was last year at this time--to wish him Happy Birthday! Ha! Happy Birthday, JD! Welcome to the club.
