One of the highlights of our Kansas stay were the horseback rides:

For two girls who have declared for the last few months that they are going to be cowgirls when they grow up, it was a real treat to spend time on Papa's horses. Seriously. (And I love that now they're playing more with their stick horses than their princesses at home!)
This picture makes me think of Hildie. Remember that movie- Thunderhead, Son of Flicka? No? Hmm- it was a good one.
The little girl in the movie was a pest that stood on the gate all the time yelling for "Key-en!" Still don't remember? Okay, never mind.
Thanks for taking the time to let us ride, Dad- we all appreciate it! 
The girls are already ready to go back and visit Cole and Dolly!
