are not easy on little ones.
But at this point in the season, these kids are so flexible that even if the game doesn't start until 8:35 (like last night) they don't get too whiny.
It helps when there are friends there to play with at half time:

Last night I heard someone say, "It's a JAIL BREAK!" when these guys rushed out to play tag:

Our guys have moments of brilliance, but lately we've been in a shooting slump. Last night we pulled within 4 of the number 6 team in the nation and didn't score again for 11 minutes. It's tough to win when that happens.
I know JD really likes his job- he loves the college and his players. And people have been so supportive and complimentary with what the team has accomplished so far. But basketball is just not quite as fun when you're not winning.
"We really like the Jayhawks and the Razorbacks. And we'll always like the Royals too. But we LOVE our Toppers!"
