Carseat Cover

A year ago I purchased a great car seat, with a not-so-great yellow, flowery cover. I normally would've gone for a gender neutral, darker cover, but this one was half-off. All along I've had intentions of recovering it, it just hasn't happened. Until Saturday. Finally.

Here is a stock photo of Halle's carseat- just imagine it with a dingy grey tint that doesn't want to wash out:

I'm not entirely pleased with the fabric choice, but for $5.50, I think I can afford to change it again sometime.
It was my first time drawing up my own pattern- I didn't want to just wing it like I usually do. A tape measure, ruler, and computer paper was all it took, and while it was time consuming, it was almost fun...
