It's official- she's not a baby anymore (sniff.) Cate is such a fun little toddler. She says and does something every single day that makes me look at her and wonder exactly what is going on in her head.

She eats at the table with us in a booster seat, and if she can't join in the conversation, she at least repeats random words and nods her head like she's contributing wisely. She is so funny.
She 'goes' on the potty a lot. I think it's because of the M&M bribes. That and Halle is constantly asking her if she needs to go (H gets one too, if she cheers for Cate after successful trips.) Today for the first time she consistently told me when she needed to go. I'm not getting my hopes up much- Halle was exactly the same age when she started doing this. Then the flu hit and it was months before she was interested again...
Picking an M&M (aka- polkadot):

Cate loves to play with Halle- and the two do really well together. Here's 'Ring-Around-the-Rosie' (or 'Ath-es, Ath-es' as Cate calls it):

She copies e v e r y t h i n g Halle does. Luckily H isn't old enough yet to care:

Cate is such a snuggler. If she's tired, she'll hunt up a pacifier and a blankie and cuddle up to the nearest person. In this case, Halle was handy:

As much as I hate to admit it, I think her favorite snuggly-person is Daddy:

(Look how TINY! She was only a couple of days old here.)
What would we do without this girl?!

Cate is so precious! I am so proud of her for going to the potty! I am going to really start working with Kyah soon...she tells me 'change' every once in awhile. I e-mailed Mark today telling him that Kyah was singing ring around the rosie and I could hear her say 'ashes' and then 'rosie' and 'down.' They are just so much fun at this age (excpet for all the tantrums lately)! Wanted to tell you thanks for the clothes...Kyah wears them often! I appreciate it! Hope you all are doing great!
