Yesterday afternoon the girls were playing happily in the driveway driving their cars here and there (such as "Walmart" and "Grandma's house.") All at once Halle stopped her car, got out, ran for some chalk and said, "Oh! I'm gonna draw Jesus!" So she drew a blue person, with some random purple lines thrown in by Cate and then got back in her car. She then ran over the Jesus drawing and said, "Mommy! I just passed the peace and understanding! Like 'Down in My Heart'!" It took me a few seconds to catch up with her:
"I've got the peace that passes understanding down in my heart, down in my heart, down in... my heart to stay!"
"Jesus" (apparently aka 'peace and understanding'?):
Picnic suppers really help to keep the kitchen clean! :)
