It started in the basketball arena with the FCA speakers (they were good.)
A little "human farkle" (-that's what we called it when we used to do camps) or "Gorrilla/Man/Gun":
Then on to the football game! Well. After walking about THREE miles in the hot sun with FOUR bags, ONE (big) baby in a sling, and ONE little girl dragging along beside me.
We were all a little hot and crabby at that point:
Thank the Lord for the ($4!) snowcone. For real. It saved us all from complete meltdowns.
And ESPECIALLY -Thank You, Lord- for the Golf Cart Lady that gave us a ride for the last mile of our walk to the stadium and then gave us her phone number and told us to call when we were ready to leave!! She seriously might have been an angel. The real kind.
Waiting for our ride:
It was a long, hot, tiring, thirsty, "Where's the Razorbacks?" (Cate), kind of day.

And I remember why I love the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
