On their way home from a graduation in Atlanta, my parents and grandma got to stop and spend a few days with us! My parents made the kids a picnic table & surprised them with it- we put it to good use right away:

Even though it was a h-o-t weekend, we spent quite a bit of time outside.

With Mom's help (& the girls') we got Halle's new bed painted and in her room. (The top bunk is still waiting for attention in the garage...)

Nice painting clothes, huh?

Grammy got the kids a new toy- and they are WILD about it! They now have (almost) a complete set of
Toy Story toys!
Cate saw this picture and said, "Uh OH! Where is Woody's hat??":

Then I scrolled down to this picture and she & Halle laughed
so hard:

We love it when our
free babysitters come! :) JD and I got to go out for our SEVEN year anniversary! (5/30) It was
great (even though we spent our date buying a matress for Halle!)

We didn't get to visit any "flags" this year (a cemetary) but we've still talked about Memorial Day some, and hopefully next year we'll find a national cemetary and take the kids
again. I like that tradition.
