basketball games

We (the kids and I) were in Batesville this last weekend visiting JD's side of the family. We were excited to be able to watch JD's nephews play (3rd & 4th graders):

Caleb's team was fun to watch- he had several steals and lots of points! He's #14: Unfortunately, the games ran WAY late and we didn't get to watch Jake play- but he did well, too.

The girls adore JD's cousin, Sarah, who was so sweet to play with them for long periods of time:

On Saturday afternoon the Toppers played against Lyon College- JD's alma mater. We went into the game winless in conference. (It's been a rough 7-game patch.) But we WON in OVERTIME!

It was such a fun win, too- our guys pulled through some adversity (read: the refs), kept their composure, hit key free throws, and just generally did a good job. What an awesome first conference win!
