12-7

Two tough losses in a row. Saturday we lost at CBC by 10. Tonight we lost to OK Weslyan by 8 (I think.) To be fair, both teams are good- but when we're right there at the end we may as well go ahead and win (in my humble opinion!) Oh well. The next game is Friday in Hot Springs vs. Champions Baptist.
On the bus, headed to Conway:We "played" on the bus for about an hour before the game- it was too cold to go outside and there was nowhere to run around during the girls game. I had no desire to sit on the bleachers for an extra hour! Our good friends, Mark and Tanzie Simmons came to the game- here is Tanzie and baby Kyah:After the game we ate with the team at IHOP- Halle ate 4 pancakes, eggs, juice, milk and an orange. She then declared, "My tummy hurts." Yeah. Go figure:Headed to the game tonight:

We always sit behind the team at home games (can't fall through the bleachers on that side.) Halle is funny about repeating things that Daddy says through the game like, "Get down and play defense!" or "32! 32!" She never really looks like she's paying attention, but apparently she has a radar for his voice. I'm thinking we need to find another place to sit before she starts telling random people to "Get your butt down on defense!" (My personal favorite that she mimiced tonight.)

The funniest thing tonight was toward the end of the game when JD called a timeout and the team ran and sat down. Halle was eating her snack and watching at that point, and she got excited and jumped up beside me and said, "Mommy! The guys sit in Time Out, just like ME!" I laughed out loud and tried to tell her the difference between CALLING a timeout and sitting in Time Out, but I don't think she got it.
