one HOT garden

On Wednesday our playgroup met at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks. Wow. It was HOT. As in, sweaty little squirmy bodies hot. They had a kids program first in the shade- Halle really liked that part (they read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and then made their own out of straw wrappers.) Then we walked around looking at flowers (while we all wilted) and at the end the kids played in the kids' garden.

Making her "caterpillar":Staying hydrated:
:)I love Cate's sweaty little curls that pop up in the back:Little red cheeks:Most of the kids (minus 3, I think)-
Cate, Halle, Brooklyn, Ben, Jackson, Maddox and Kathryn:If you live in the area, pick a cooler day and check it out- it really is a unique place:

Camp and Cousins

This week was basketball camp at the Boys and Girls Club in Fayetteville. I worked camp with JD while my mom watched the girls. JD's sister and her boys came up for the week to attend camp. We had a house full! :)

Beachy Babes and Lemonade Pops

On our way to the splash park (We go a lot. It's free.)She put them on by herself:Our first popsicles of the summer! This is such a cheesy shot, but Halle was so proud that she used all of the blocks to build a tower on her own and it didn't fall over! SHE begged me to take a picture (Gosh. Maybe she's catching my photo fever...):
