Cate's new thing, when she's whiny or fake-crying, is this "HoooOOOO" noise that is really really funny. Poor thing, I don't think laughter is the reaction that she wants when she makes the noise, but we just can't help it!This is not a great video of it, but you'll get the general idea:

I laughed quietly and ran for the camera before she heard me:
Cate tried to grab baby Catherine while Halle was busy somewhere else. It didn't work. Halle came running. Poor Cate.
She takes everything in stride, though:
We have a cd with "dancing music" as Halle calls it, on it. One song is her hands-down-all-time-favorite. It's an updated version of the Disney classic, Cruella De'vil. Here- take a listen:

She's getting quite the mind of her own. I insisted on tights or the long socks (it is winter after all, and I do aspire to be a good mother.)
